Whenever I try to join my friend's custom game it starts loading and then just disconnects me saying "Incompatible UI version". We tried with another friend and it happened to him too. Can I get some help? (It automatically updated when we launched it)

        UI Compatibility Error

Since the update of r2107 people have been getting this error in T6 Zombies. This only occurs when players attempt to join their friends via custom games in DLC maps. A fix will be rolled out soon, please be patient!

Possible solutions to try in the meantime:

        1. Join at same time - You can use dvar zombies_minplayer x where x = amount of people required to join in order the game to start. You must type this before starting the match. Hopefully this will prevent the error.

        2. Joining a public server playing those maps - at the moment, joining servers does not cause the error to occur and yes Easter Eggs work in servers.

        3. (for advanced users only) Host a public server - take a look at this guide to help you https://docs.plutonium.pw/docs/server/t6/setting-up-a-server/

It also didn't work for me. Unless we are doing something wrong. When do you exactly do you have to insert the comand? We have to do it both or just the one starting the match?

BallsMcLongAss Use /zombies_minplayer 2 in the console, not in the command prompt (although this should work). Obviously replace 2 by the number of players.

DeMoNiiAkZz said in Incompatible UI version:

                    y

                    same error

YoCelery the command works. Host has to put /zombies_minplayer 2 (or any other number) in the in-game console and press Enter to validate it before starting the map

As for public server you could easily find it by searching on Plutonium's website https://plutonium.pw/docs/server/t6/setting-up-a-server/

Locking this thread as everything important has been said and we don't need 200 messages saying it does not work for them either especially if an explanation has already been given twice in the same thread.
