Steam and IW5

Hey! Recently I installed IW5 for my Steam Copy of MW3 and was looking for some advice with VAC (Valve Anti Cheat). I saw on the forums here that the game does not interfere with the files of the Steam Version, but I just wanted to make sure that if I use my steam version of the game as the directory of the mod I am not at risk for a VAC ban on my account.

I launched the game through the launcher and I saw the steam overlay, but I saw that steam did not at all recognize me as playing MW3 even with steam open after I started MW3 (With the plutonium launcher) . I am just making sure I did not mess up and that this will not cause any sort of ban.

It won't, you're fine. Its just using your mw3 files, Pluto doesn't communicate with Steam in any way.

hey, is there a way that I does show up original MW3 MP in Steam?
For example when I add IW4x as a Non-Steam Game it actually really shows up that I'am playing original Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer which is nice. Is there any trick that Steam shows up original Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer Game while playing on Plutonium?

Xornado This used to work but broke in a recent Steam update. We will fix this soon.

yes.
