Bo2 games not loading disconnected from server error

Everytime i go into a game it freezes on the loading screen for a while, this even happens in custom games, then eventually returning me to title screen displaying the server disconnected. My wifi is fine and i play on an intel core i5 8th gen laptop. I never had any problem before when playing bo2 before the new pluto update a few days ago where the title screen received some changes and since then haven't been able to play. Can someone help?
