MW3 Plutonium Issue (Unsure)

Problem:
Hello, my problem with Plutonium IW5 is that the game feels stutterly while on maximum settings + high FPS.

I am not sure what the problem is, It is definitely client lag and not server lag.

my experience with windowed is rather bad, id suggest changing it to fullscreen. Thats the first thing u can change that would make a difference without much troubleshooting

Tqhr Thank you for your response, I will change it to fullscreen, however i tab out a lot and that does cause issues for me, but i guess it's something I'll have to deal with.

Update your GPU drivers
Turn everything to low (I know you can handle the game but maybe a particular setting is causing stutters)
Use /com_maxfps 144 in console

my GPU drivers are fully up-to-date from the Geforce Experience app. Current version 472.12

@lResxt I put all settings to low and it got fixed. honestly not sure what it is.

zaid your game being on max settings shouldnt be the cause. Your gpu is powerfull enough for this old game. If youre fine with low settings you can leave it at that but trying out each option, then playing to see what exactly the culprit is would be helpfull. Then you dont have to sacrifice quality
