how to fix 'failed to start launcher:invalid argument' ?

I have commented in another post about the same topic but I did not get any answer about my problem, and now the comment section there is locked. So as I asked in the other post, I get this error, and no I am not running windows 7, I am running windows 8. In the other post you explained That you do not support windows 7 but you did not say anything about windows 8 and my problem. Can you please explain and help??
