Whenever I join a private match or create one, within about 10 minutes my PC will hard crash without warning, and the PC automatically reboots as normal after the fact. This applies to BO2 multi and zombies.

    Specs:
    EVGA GTX 1070ti
    Ryzen 5 3600x
    16GB 3000mhz cl14 memory

The PC's temps never jump above 90 degrees on the GPU or 60 degrees on the CPU (celsius).
There is an overclock on the graphics card but even disabling it still leads to a hard crash.
I've reinstalled plutonium and also reinstalled and updated my GPU drivers.
No other games I play have this problem, and public matches work perfectly fine,

Do you own black ops 2 on steam? Maybe have a friend let you borrow his steam account and test to see if this issue Plutonium related or not

Another thing. Do you perhaps have XMP profile 1 set on your bios maybe?

I have D.O.C.P on my ASUS bios set to 3000mhz cl14 and nobody I know owns a copy of black ops 2 on steam.
