WaW Crashes when I try to play on Steam

I downloaded plutonium wanting to just try it out. I want to go back and play WaW on steam, but whenever I launch the game in steam it crashes 5 seconds in. I tried uninstalling plutonium and deleting the files the come along with it and have had no luck. Have even tried uninstalling the game afterwards. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Please let me know!

Goosepappy did you verify your game files via steam?

Yes I just went ahead and did so and tried to launch. No luck. I do have plutonium installed at this time however. Would that affect anything?
