Game audio works for Zombies, not Multiplayer

When I load up zombies, the game recognizes my headset and the audio works fine. When I load multiplayer there is no game audio and the game defaults to my monitor. It wont let me change the audio output either. Any suggestions?

Shoshcabon try going in the main menu and changing the audio device from the in-game audio options.
If that doesn't work you can try switching window mode (fullscreen/windowed borderless)
