I know there is the default way to play with friend and that works fine but lets say i downloaded a mod like zombies++ would my friend still be able to join me or would i have to port forward to get that working.

evegrove123 You could have to do additional steps in the game for mods but a mod won't make you need to port forward. If you get vanilla custom games to work then modded will be the same
