Droven you could try to change them over the plutonium.cfg file in your mw3 folder .. r_resolution is for res for example
In fact all r_ commands are for graphic and stuff

Rosamaha r_mode is for window resolution and r_imageQuality is for the render's resolution, r_resolution is not even a valid dvar with any COD engine build.
