2 different versions of black ops 2?
-
Hello, I'm new to Plutonium forums and just using this client in general which I really love! It does bring back the memories but there is one thing I'm confused about.
Here you can see that there are 2 pictures of the menu screen you see when you first start the game nothing strange, right? Well if you look at the first and the second picture you can see that one of them dont have Campaign and Zombies available which is the one that I myself see. Zombies isn't a problem since I could just use the plutonium to launch it but what about campaign? I have completed it but that was years ago so I wouldn't mind having it and being able to switch to zombies just by a click of a button would also be a cool feature.
The biggest problem is that for some reason I don't have custom games for zombies just like shown under this picture. You may be wondering why I would need it and that is because I want to play with a friend alone without any modified maps and there was a method I found on youtube that worked for everyone apart from me since I can't even use custom games..
It seems like I have a lite version of plutonium? Or I installed something incorrectly? I haven't bought Black Ops 2 I am just using the one you get for free.Thank you for reading through all of this.

Campaign is not available on Plutonium because there is no point for us to support it. Campaign can be played through steam. The only purpose for adding campaign would be piracy.
The zombies button is removed because it NEEDS to be launched through Plutonium. This is because Plutonium needs to do it's modifications to the game in order for the game to work with our systems. You can simply just select "ZOMBIES" in the launcher instead of "MULTIPLAYER" if you want to play zombies. We are working on a more connected experience called game-ui. This will be released later to replace our current launcher.

We merged Custom Games and Solo Play into the new "PLAY" menu. This allows you to configure your match and start playing. By default the game will be in solo mode. If a second player connects to you, it will automatically switch to multiplayer mode.
Simply put: There is no reason to have a separated "SOLO PLAY" and "CUSTOM GAMES" option.

It is not a "lite" version. We've just changed some things compared to the original game.
I hope this clears things up for you!

Oh okay thanks, I understand! One more thing I did try the new play thing that you use to start the game normally without the new server menu thing and my friend tried to join me and all he could see was joining session or something like that and nothing happened. It said that I was on private even though I'm set on public and so is he. I tried to join him instead and the same problem occured.
Thanks for responding!

MrParadiseDr Private game means private to friends that's what should be displayed.
To host a custom game you have to do some steps on your side which are easy if you have decent networking knowledge.
Otherwise the guide has an introduction that tries to explain everything you need to know.Take your time to read it all from the top and come back if you still need help to get it working https://plutonium.pw/docs/custom-games/
