Closed Steam, game crashed and I'm banned?

I just downloaded Plutonium and hopped in a game of Bo2 zombies with two friends of mine. The game went on for something like 15 minutes and thats when i started getting fps stutters. I tried closing down Steam and all of its processes which fixed the stutters for around a minute or two, before my game crashed and when I tried logging back in, I was hit with a 7 day ban.
I would like to know why I got banned, I cant imagine Steam had anything to do with it.

Angbwa I’m not asking to be unbanned, I just want to know what went wrong so I can avoid it when I get unbanned. From earlier posts it seems like you can look at logs.

i was on burried with friends for no reason i was banned for 24 hours 24 HOURS

Avoid using cheats and injectors.

The1wool1 the anticheat doesn't issue 24h bans, you were probably banned by an admin of the server you were playing on.
