Can't launch BO2 T6 - default_mp.controls.cfg Error

Hi. I'm not being able to launch T6 BO2 at all.

I've tried the only fix that's available to counter this error according to the admins, which was verifying the files on Steam, which I did 2-3 times, with no fix to my issue.

I've also tried to reinstall BO2, start without the DLC and whatnot, but it still pops up.

I want to add too that MW3 works perfectly fine. It seems to only be BO2.

Hope there's a fix for this.

What did you install in Steam? Usually its the case people think they can install the SP files and play ZM / MP with them.

@GYOMusic this error means you have missing files. Download both MP and ZM and repair them both once they're done downloading and try again.

I must have been blind and not seen that I needed those two when I set it all up.

Resxt hi , i have the same problem and i did not understand what to do, i didn't download the game from steam so how can i find it in steam library or was this solution only for the ones who downloaded the game from steam ?

Manche Where did you get the gamefiles from then? 3rd party repacks aren't supported so redownload the game from https://plutonium.pw/docs/install/#installing-the-base-game-bo2
