bo2 joining game session. . . then is goes away

im not joining a friend im just trying to join a random public lobby and it just says joining game session then it just goes away, there is currently only one server that works for me and when my friend tried to join me they get the "joining game session" too but they can join other public servers. The game was working yesterday and then it stopped working today, can anyone help me with this?
