Cant join friends T6 zombies game and vice versa.
-
currently trying to play zombies with a friend, his UPnP is enabled automatically without doing anything but mine was not, my router doesn't support UPnP so I followed the steps on to port forward 4976-4977 (UDP) in my router settings and also "whitelist" the same ports in my computers firewall, and it is still not making UPnP work in zombies so I cant connect to my friends game and vice-versa. and I have NO anti-viruses that could mess with firewall settings.
don't know if this means anything but I have also created a Minecraft server that my friends could join by port forwarding my router, so I know that I am able to port forward.
Any suggestions? -
Beanbagg the host of the match is the only one who has to worry about port forwarding or upnp, same thing for the minecraft server.
Forwarding the port will not enable upnp, it's a workaround for when upnp is not available or not working so doing that should enable friends to connect to your match. -
So even though my friends UPnP is "Enabled" and mine is not, he would still have to go and port forward the specified ports for T6?

Beanbagg if he wants to host a match and it doesn't work despite upnp being enabled on his side then yes.

I didn't mention it in the first post but I when I did port forward 4976-4977 (UDP) in my router settings I let my friend try to connect to me me I entered a T6 Zombies match and it still wouldn't let him connect to me either. So I'm just bit lost on what else I could possible do...

Beanbagg did you start the match before letting him connect? Also has he tried connecting via the console using your wan ip? (https://www.whatsmyip.org/)
connect ip

Yes, both of us started the match before the other one actually connected, and we tried double-clicking each others names on the friends list and actually connecting to each others WAN ip's and none of the following worked. it just kept saying "connecting to match" then would disappear.
