Game not launching.

I have the steam version of BO2 installed on my PC. I had the directory set up as it should be and everything was working perfectly yesterday. I go to launch the game today and it just won’t open. No error messages, no black screen, nothing. I tried re-copying the directory and running as administrator to see if that would help but nothing has changed. Please help.
