Some people might be having this error, I have had it personally for about 2 months before finding a fix. If you are having this error, even on a fresh install of the torrent files, you need to update your torrenting software.

My case was my qbittorrent version being 4.2.5, the latest was 4.4.1, which I believed might've cause some weird compatibility issues. However, upon updating, the game launched and worked as intended.

    Hope this helps anyone!

RealDiamondPlays this makes no sense. the torrent software has nothing to do with plutonium, the only thing that can happen is that the pluto launcher isn't able to update itself because it's still open in the torrent software (as the torrent is seeding). That would lead to the launcher not starting and displaying an error message, not what you showed above.

Also if anything this wouldn't be a fix for "0xC0000005" but for the game crashing at 0xBA1E02CD. 0xC0000005 just means access violation, 99% of error messages will show that stop code despite the errors being caused by completely different things. the memory address is what's important.

Dss0 I see. I have always closed my torrent software whenever I tried to launch the game so I thought it was just some error when downloading.
