Steam shared connecting BO2 to Plutonium work?
-
I’m Steam sharing BO2 with my older brother and we want to play since our friends and family don’t own the game so we resorted to plutonium. Is there any way we can both used the steam shared version into plutonium? Or one need to download the pirate version, and one can only use steam version?
Or are we just able to both use the steam shared version.
Thanks! -
C00KIRZ All you need are valid game files (Steam or the torrent we provide), you don't check for ownership.
You can use Steam family to share your games so that they download BO2 multiplayer and zombies from Steam, they don't need to own it. -
Resxt Ah, okay! I’m trying to get it to work on my brothers PC (We’re sharing one BO2 between a steam share library) and It keeps crashing for hsi screen when I go into settings and says zmb_rt_load.all failed to build or something. Now it’s not doing it, but it’s just crashing as soon as it takes me to the load up screen. Any Fixes?

C00KIRZ Looks like missing or corrupted files.
Make sure you download both ZM and MP from Steam and then repair https://plutonium.pw/docs/repair/#the-repair-process-for-t4-and-t6-steam -
Resxt Still not working, furthest I got was to the options page to change the resolution before it crashed again.

Resxt Fixed it. I uninstalled everything in regards to the Plutonium T6 and moved it into the C Drive instead of the D drive since all his games automatically go into there. Transfered the torrent, plutonium AND COD II into the C drive as well and started back up. Safe to say it’s working now for now.
