Ironsight just missed

Idk everytime i am pointing the ironsight at someone and shooting it usually wont register and from like 10 bullets only 3 seem to hit despite having the ironsight centered on their body (svt-40)
does this game has like simulated bullet drop or something or is it just lag because i have a ping of 120
