Game isn't fullscreen

Hi, I'm brand new here. When I try to open up BO2, it opens and seems to run fine, but awkwardly takes up only about 2/3rd of my screen, and I can still hover over other background applications. How do I make it full screen?

Edit: figured it out. I just went into the game settings and changed my resolution to what it should be (1440x900) as well as changing from Fullscreen to Windowed (Fullscreen).
