zombies_minplayers issue

this command doesn't seem to do anything for me. custom games still load without a "waiting for players" prompt, no matter what value i set it to. am i missing something

TAC0CAT you need to put it in the console before the game starts, in the lobby, when you're the host

zombies_minplayers 2thats what i do. open the console in the private match lobby, i type zombies_minplayers 2 (the console then shows me that the value is set at 2 now), i start a match....and it just throws me into a game alone when its done loading
if you want i can send a video recording of this whole process and you'll see i dont deviate from it at all

Afaik since lobbies now work you just invite your friends in a lobby and start with the party -
quick update, i tried it out again just now and instead of loading me into a game it just pauses at awaiting connection. does that mean the command is working now?
