LAN hosting

So the question is, if I get my pops to play WaW with me, do I need to set up port forwarding or just tell him to type "connect localhost" in the console? Thanks in advance!

If you're both in the same LAN and you're hosting, they'll need to type

connect <your ip>

Where <your ip> is your PCs local LAN IP, typically something like 192.168.x.x
Port forwarding is not necessary in this case. You might need to allow the game in Windows Firewall.
