Bot warfare on dedicated server

I followed the instructions from Resxt's post on how to install bot warfare but the mod doesn't seem to load. I can't open any menu in game and no bots spawn or anything. I tried to do a automatic loading install but the script Resxt tells us to copy-paste into the install.bat results in a "0 files copied" message.

Can you please show what exactly you put in the install.bat ?

Thomaskuhh I downloaded the latest release from here https://github.com/ineedbots/piw5_bot_warfare/releases and extracted the .zip

tobipolar and if you use this one : https://github.com/ineedbots/piw5_bot_warfare/archive/refs/heads/master.zip
and go to the install.bat in the out folder and put script in.
Does that work ?

tobipolar The instructions were outdated because BW's install instructions changed.

Resxt New guide worked for me, now my only question is, is it possible to open the bot menu for the dedicated server in game or are they only configurable via dvars?
tobipolar Yes but this is not ideal
You would need to setbots_main_menuto "1" andbots_main_GUIDswith your GUID
You can get your GUID by starting a private game and checking in the bootstrapper if you have BW installed iirc.
Or use my script https://github.com/Resxt/Plutonium-IW5-Scripts/blob/main/small_scripts/get_player_guid.gsc -

Is it possible to spawn bots by editing or set the number of bots in the files, so that i dont need to do it ingame on my own server? Also, is it possible that if a real player joins the server, he just replaces a bot?

Resxt Your updated guide to installing bot warfare doesn't exist anymore and I forgot how to set it up

when I add a large number of bots, for example more than 5 for each team, I start to lag like I have a high ping, but since I play a private match, I cannot have a high ping, can someone know how to fix this?

Get a more powerful PC. Can't fix.
