installing on local disk

So i know in the first step for downloading everything it asks you to put the files onto your local disc except i currently dont have one so i just went through with all the other steps and cant get the game to run, is there anything i can do or would i have to get usb for this

Green Gobbler I don't understand what you mean but you can put the game anywhere you want.
Our guide clearly explains that this is an example.
The only thing that is required is that you tell the launcher where the game is.

Not sure you can put it on a USB drive, it might work, but it's a bad practice anyways, that's not what USB are made for.
You will probably fail to join servers because of the USB loading files slowly
