Crashes

I recently had to restart my entire computer because something wasn't working correctly (NOT Plutonium) and before i restarted it plutonium worked just fine. i redownloaded steam and redownloaded plutonium launcher but when i direct my plutonium to my steam file it doesn't show up by the play button like it does with normal people's plutonium and when i hit play the launcher closes and doesn't bring up Modern Warfare 3. Please help me im very confused and i just want to play on plutonium
