moon easter egg solo

i was doing the moon ee in solo but in the step where i have to place the vri device i couldnt(mb i didnt realiced i was takeo not richtofen), i wanted to know if it is because u cant solo it or because i have to do the sangri la easter egg first in order to get the vri device. thanks u sir

You have to do the shangrila easter egg and then you have to load in to moon as richtofen
