Not launching the game just loads for 2 seconds then closes

IW5 doesn't launch mw3 it just closes after 2 seconds. I followed every step correctly so I'm not sure what's wrong. I've retried multiple times and restarted my PC as well as ran as administrator no dice.

Seems to work perfectly fine with Blackops 2 but MW3 is having issues so I'm attempting to reinstall the dedicated server on steam

Hi - this might be caused by Windows detecting our new update as a virus. This is a false positive.
Follow the below screenshot to try and solve it.
The long term solution would be to add %appdata%/plutonium as a folder exception in Windows Defender or any other antivirus product you have.
