Problem playing with people with different game versions

I have the steam version of bo1 and when I run with my friend who has the plutonium version the game doesn't work right, my friend will have a ak 74u and can't get kills but then if he's hosts I get kicked when we load in and I get an error message saying I had a mismatch for the ak 74u

majix1433 you mean he got the game files off steam and he used the torrent? those files are exactly the same, this error is probably caused by one of you being on an old version of plutonium. https://plutonium.pw/docs/update/

No, I had the the games files off steam but my friend downloaded the newest version and the games we're just mad buggin

majix1433 what the staff is telling you is that your friends plutonium launcher isn’t up to date. Update the launcher to fix this issue. The files from steam and the torrent provided by this website has nothing to do with this. If you need additional help read the document he sent you.
