Can't join other people's games when playing with a wifi connection

It has occured to me that i literally can't connect to other people's private matches when invited while using a wifi connection. I get the "unable to find game session" error or smt along those lines. I am allowed to host though, which is weird and of course, makes for a miserable experience for all the others connected due to the wifi's inconsistency.

Does anyone know if this is an issue with plutonium? I'm pretty sure that wifi shouldn't be this much of an impediment
