Screen Resolution

I accidentily set my screen resolution too high. (The one above 1920x1080.) Now when I start the game the whole screen becomes black and says "the current input timing is too high". Its a moniter overlay because the game is still on and i can drag my mouse and hear the sound ques of the buttons, but I cannot see them to change the res back. Are there any game files that I could go to to change the resoulution without actually going intot the game?
