Can't Join Friends On Custom Zombies

I've tried this with multiple friends and it isn't working. It's weird because I was playing with one of my friends just fine the other day through double clicking on his name through the Plutonium Overlay once he loaded into a match, but now nothing happens when I double click his name. It used to say what map he was playing and now it says "In a private match". We both have UPnP enabled so I don't understand why it isn't working.
