Playing On Plutonium With Someone Who Has Downloaded BO1 Through Gameshare (Steam)
-
My brother and I both have BO1 installed on our PCs thanks to game share. Typically steam only allows one account to play a game that is utilizing the game share function. Seeing as plutonium is a separate online service from steam I am wondering if anyone knows whether or not my brother and I will still be subject to the game share one account limitation and unable to play together on plutonium since steam still detects you are playing a game you have downloaded through them and notifies you that your steam account is now online when launching through plutonium. I will be testing for this regardless of a response but thought I’d ask anyway in case anyone already knows or if someone else has the same question in the future.

No. Plutonium only checks if you have valid files.
So if you get them from Steam and didn't get corrupt you're fine.
Also since you can play Plutonium with Steam closed I don't see how Steam would block anything -

VeggieMight All players have to be running Plutonium or Steam version Plutonium players cannot join Steam players and vice versa. Plutonium is fully separate from Steam so whatever steam limitations exist don't apply.
