Weird server glitch.

does anyone know why whenever i invite my friend to my server the server dies for some reason when they join. Like their ping is really bad and the owner (me) gets bad lag spikes. We tried doing it the other way around when I joined him but the same thing happend, he got lag spikes and freezes while I had really bad ping. Any fixes? (btw in combat training and we both have the bot warfare mod loaded)

Update, we tried without mods and we for some reason got one good match in and it breaks again
