Unable to play in public match

I've tried connecting to public matches with my sister so we can play together, but whenever me or her try to join the same public match in bo1 zombies, it automatically disconnects one of us from the server. It just says "Notice: Server disconnected." Me and my sister currently live in the same house and use the same wifi, so could this be the issue?

Because of the party system you get kicked when using the same IP on the same server from what I've understood. This is a known issue but there's no info on a fix for now
