Players outside my network can join my server, yet port still shows closed?

My friends are able to see my server in the browser, join, and play it, but checking the port says its still closed? This is really weird since someone in the Discord said they could not see the server. Why does this happen? Are some people just not able to see my server?

Port checkers are not reliable and don't work with the UDP protocol I think.

If someone from outside your network can join then you're all good
