How to Add/Join Friends BO2

So my buddy and i added each other and are friends on the Plutonium Launcher, it says we are friends, but when we go in game we cant join each other as friends nor can we invite each other to private lobby's. Can someone help me out, I will get you a cookie if you do

I dont think inviting friends into private lobbies work yet, maybe in the future

you can but you need to port forward
