I already port forwarded my router to include 3074 UDP, UPNP is on, and my nat type is set to open.

- What is his NAT type?
- Are you playing on the same internet connection (same house)?
- Make sure you invite him while in a lobby and that the party settings are correct (set to open and like 8 players max) and that you're both on the same game. Someone in MP cannot join a ZM invite
- What is your antivirus? Maybe you have a firewall that blocks the connection although everything is right. I know ESET does that
- Show your port forwarding rule
And by the way since it's not clear on your message: the one who needs an open NAT with the port forward is the host, the one who invites the others. Port forwarding to join other players isn't necessary
