Ps4 controller won't work with ds4 and steam configuration

Does anybody have a solution to this? I tried everything I can

stop using steam configuration, ds4 windows use the touchpad when the game allows it, for example bo2 recognizes the touchpad as a mouse input, so when u pass ur fingers it moves like a mouse, so in bo3 it isnt possible because of the game engine i guess, im not surely right and i dont have all knowledge to explain this deeply
