Plutonium Launcher black screen/freezes when coming back from alt+tabbing

1/4 times i alt+tab the launcher will be black screen and freeze. then wont be able to alt+f4 or even alt+tab again to any other screen. always end up signing out and signing back into windows to quick fix it, but then i have to reload everything i have open.

I guess you mean Black Ops I? Because the launcher is the app used to launch games.
Simply set your game to windowed borderless. Old games don't work well when alt tabbing while in fullscreen -
