WaW -- bolt action glitch?
-
Hi all,
I've seen some players do some weird trick with bolt action snipers that allows them to shoot faster than usual. Basically, it seems like they cancel the pulling animation half-way between shots which allows them to shoot much faster than if the bolt were pulled all the way back. Anyone know what I'm getting at? If so, any ideas how it's done? Is it some sort of glitch that's being abused or what? (I'm new to WaW, so yeah.)
Best,

Most COD games have a thing called reload cancels.
Simply put: the game puts back the ammo in the clip before the animation finishes (you can test yourself and look at the ammo HUD while the reload animation is playing)
So therefore you can simply run or do whatever action to quickly stop the animation at the moment the ammos are already in to save some timeSame goes for cancelling the bolt reload animation. If you reload during the bolt reload animation then quickly sprint to cancel the reload animation then you can shoot faster than usual
It's not really a glitch it's just a mechanic players use on all CODs
Here is an example that should help you understand

@Huzzybear How can you not know about this?

WolflexZ I'm new to WaW, so honestly it's the first time I've seen it! I only played mw2 back in the days and never encountered it then... that's really why haha, just haven't come across it before now
