Weapon Level not increasing in Public Match

I have just played a couple of games of TDM and my Weapon Level hasn't increased at all. I have Unlock Tokens however I'm wanting to play the game without unlock all. Is there any chance of this being a general fix? I'm new to plutonium so I'm not sure if this has been addressed before so I figured I'd ask
