Yes as I figured, that's the problem. Win7 isn't supported anymore, best you upgrade to win10

Or you can upgrade to win10 with the media creation tool. It's completely free, plus there are unpatched security vulns on windows 7

I mean if you had a legit key of win7, just putting it in the win10 installer gave you a free win10 installation. At least it did it for me

HannesC I don't have the key. I gotta get it from a Software guy, that too it will be an OEM key.

Not really, you dont need a very good pc to upgrade to windows 10. It can run on potatoes too. Try downloading the media creation tool and find it yourself how easy it is to upgrade to win10

                          KIR170YT 1. English please.
                          2. Still, it's not the Staff's responsibility if others don't want to upgrade to Windows 10 ¯_(ツ)_/¯
                          3. Besides, Windows 10 ain't that heavy at all, lol.

manmansu4 Stop hijacking threads bruh. Install the redists and run dxsetup.exe inside the directx folder https://drive.google.com/u/0/uc?id=1gG_DXaZfAUETfXaYJzCP36ImvE_bO_x9&export=download and if you have McAfee, uninstall it.

If you still face issues even after following what I said above, don't reply here further and make a new thread instead.
