Able to join friends sometimes, other times unable due to error

Hi, I started playing and using plutonium for about a week now, and I've noticed that in black ops II zombies my friends are only able to join my lobbies half the time, and we've all went through the steps in the documentation to be able to play and we have played together before and nothing has changed.
However, we're only able to join each other in custom games lobbies about twice out of the 10 times we try and I wanted to know if there was anything we were doing wrong and someone would be able to point us in the right direction? Thanks!

Thats just how it is with some ISP provided routers.

Kagazuka if you want it to be reliable then the host should port forward
