Enquiring if anyone knows where to find local mw3 weapon file location as I'm having trouble with it or if anyone has a download link to the weapon files themselves so I can edit and alter the anim.

try downloading greyhound and open it go to ur mw3 folder then main and open iw_06.iwd here are the guns hands model and other stuff

MW3 has no human readable weapon files. You could try to dump them yourself with the zonebuilder.
