Yesterday I was trying to complete the origins easter egg with another person. I was portforwarding and everything was going great. Around 2-3 hours into the zombie session the other player got disconnected for some reason. We were searching for a way to get him back into the game but nothing was found. When I opened the friends tab there was no way to invite him again, we also tried the "connect ip:port" command but this didnt seem to work either.

Does anyone know of a way to re-invite a disconnected player or do we just have to restart from scratch if this happens?

    Thanks for the help!

      Mutatedbrownie Good day.
If it's on a server you can enter without any problem, if you play privately or with vpn it's more complicated depending on the NAT most of the time it fails. I recommend you play on empty servers.
Or Search on youtube for a tutorial on how to invite a friend again if what I tell you does not work.

Mutatedbrownie I don't think you can. We could try together if you want to be sure.
The only solution that comes to mind would be hosting a private dedicated server instead which people can join and leave whenever they want

Resxt Thanks for the response. I might set up a dedicated server in case I ever have this issue again!
