Forum Avatar as Emblem Not Saving

The Forum Avatar as Emblem works ingame with no issues.
The issue I am having is when I close my game and later run it again I have to go into the menu and choose it again, it doesn't remember that I had selected it previously.
Its after I close the game it happens... it remembers from one map to the next with no problem.

Should it remember once selected?

Is there some way I could force it to remember or force it to be chosen using a dvar or script?

I should have really asked:

Does anyone else use their Forum avatar as emblem?
If so does it remember you have chosen it or do you have to select it again each time you run the game?

I do use my forum avatar, even though I find the in-game emblems much more prestigious IMO. The fix I find is if you own base MW3 on Steam, load it up and just change your emblem to the very first dog-tag one, which Pluto reads as your forum avatar. Then it should stick in Pluto from now on.

IHateBlackOps4 Thanks setting my emblem to the dog tags irrespective of the selecting the Forum avartar button works.
