Unable to start T5

i have a problem (i suspect with the resolution of BO1) when i press play on the launcher it starts but the pc is unable to adapt the game to the screen so i get a black square in the top left corner.
i need to change the in game resolution to make it work, but i dont know how to run the game in a different resolution.
time ago i had another version and to make it work i had to run it in 640x480 if i remember correctly, and then after changing the resolution from the settings it started normally. how can i do this with the launcher? -
i managed to do it by changing the settings of the display size in the pc, then changed the in game settings and without closing the launcher riadjusted the pc's monitor size. but i have to do this every time i launch the game.
