Once again Plutonium is triggering antivirus apps.... why do the developers have a problem in this area?

[1]One how are you assuming it's a developer problem? Do you know how antivirus and detections work?
It's just a false positive because Plutonium got updated and rescanned by your antivirus. It happens with a lot if not almost all unsigned/non company software, even trusted ones. It simply means your software warns you of a potential risk because Plutonium is obfuscated, it's completely normal and it's not like it's a problem, just dismiss the notification.

You will find the same problem on a lot of similar software, even qBittorrent which is insanely reputed and open source has this on every single update. It's more complex than "bad developers", it's not a developers problem that can be solved by coding properly.

We have a documentation for this

You could also send the file to kaspersky for them to test it and omit it from their Heuristic Engine within their detection so it is not flagged up. Did this with Malwarebytes and Cod4x and they stopped it from being flagged within their next Heuristic Engine update.

Resxt I assume it is a development problem as it is the only app that I experience this with. It was a problem back a year or so ago. I have been using Steam and before that older FPS games so have experienced a number of platforms. My understanding is (at a very limited level from the last time) is that certain bits of the code trigger AV systems - requiring users to manually tinker with those security apps in order to operate. As Steam and other platforms manage this without that triggering event - then there is a logical link top my initial statement.

[1]One Steam and Plutonium is nothing alike. Plutonium doesn't get money for this so we can't pay to sign our software and we can't contact Microsoft and such to whitelist our software. Same goes for a lot of indie/"unknown" groups

Can't compare Steam and Plutonium, but I get why you were saying that 👍
