Extreme Stuttering only when moving mouse.

Hello guys. ive been having a weird issue with performance ever since i factory reset my PC. I did not have this issue before, plutonium ran fine.

Before i begin, yes, I have tried every solution listed on https://plutonium.pw/docs/low-fps/, and checked the forum to see if a solution already exists / if this problem has been brought up before. to which it does not.

Also, here are my specs:

i5-11600K Overclocked to 4.5 ghz (Stable for ~6 Months, I seriously doubt this is the cause of the issue.)
32 GB of 3200 Mhz DDR4
GTX 1050 Ti 4GB OC
Samsung 980 1TB M.2

To the actual issue at hand, my game runs fine when I don't touch my mouse (90-100FPS), but as soon as I move my mouse, it drops to low 20s - 30s and I get horrible micro freezes. its literally unplayable

I've tried using task manager to set prio to max, no changes.
I've dropped all settings to bare minimum, no changes.
I've done a full reinstall of GPU and mouse drivers/software, no changes.
I've tried bouncing between Windowed, FS, Windowed FS, no changes.

Too add on, I've also tried messing with the mouse acceleration, and done everything the forum & discord suggests, and the issue still persists.

Dude I have the same issue and it’s driving me CRAZY!

It’s definitely a problem with Plutonium since this doesn’t happen using the steam version of the game. Seems to be somewhat recent too, so maybe a change they made in the last year broke it.

If you find a fix, please let me know. I’ve been troubleshooting and asking around for weeks with zero progress.

Think I’ll try downloading the Pluto version of the game and see if that still has the issue. Idk if it’s even possible to install older versions of Pluto but I’d like to try it just to see.

Are you launching Pluto from steam by chance?
