Error running the game

every time i go to launch BO2 i get the error "
Error during initialization:
Missing config file "default_mp.cfg" during initialization. May need to add to code_pre_gfx." -
im having a similar issue just different msg... if you find out how to fix it plz tell me and ill do the same!

Fix: This is caused by a broken or incomplete base game (Black Ops 2), if you own the game on steam use steam to verify the game files, doing so will repair it and fix the error. If you do not own it, then simply place piry.exe in your game folder and run it, this will also repair it.
